Interactive Data Managed Solutions enhances trading portal of Swiss bank with new analytical tools: Watchlist and InteractiveCharts

Interactive Data Corporation (NYSE: IDC), a leading provider of financial market data, analytics and related services, announced today that its Managed Solutions group has enhanced the trading portal www.e-sider.com at Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (BCV) with two new beneficial analytical tools: Watchlist and InteractiveCharts. BCV can now offer private investors the ability to manage their securities online and analyse trends which can help them execute trades more efficiently.

The new Watchlist feature on www.e-sider.com is designed to allow for easy and well-structured management of online trading activity. Users can monitor the performance of selected stocks, as well as their whole portfolio during defined time periods. The alerting function helps to distribute that important information, such as when prices or volumes cross set thresholds of selected securities. Alerts can be distributed via SMS or e-mail. In addition, users can choose to be updated on quotes or their portfolio trades on a daily basis. Model portfolios can provide private investors with the opportunity to improve their trading skills without the obligation to buy.

InteractiveCharts are designed as a simple and intuitive application for beginners, as well as experienced private investors. The charts can help enable investors to recognise and filter exchange trends, whilst the technical analysis features offer decision-making support. Detailed intra-day graphs for Swiss and international stocks can be viewed in real-time and can be compared to benchmarks or other securities. Also available are historical charts going back up to five years, as well as different chart types and display formats. Automated trend analysis, with more than 20 technical indicators and drawing functionalities within the charts, complete the offering. InteractiveCharts can be accessed directly from the Watchlist, which is designed to allow further analysis on the individual securities within the portfolio.

Since the start of E-Sider.com in 2005, Banque Cantonale Vaudoise has provided private investors with online access to the trading floor.
